Circumvention Policy
Circumvention is when a customer and professional meet on Hyre, but choose to conduct their relationship outside of Hyre, typically by sending payment through another means outside the platform. Circumvention happens when a customer or professional asks or agrees to pay or be paid outside of Hyre.
Circumvention is a serious violation of the Terms of Service. Steps taken in order to take a relationship off of our platform are also considered circumvention, like asking to be paid or make a payment outside of our service.
EXCEPTIONS
There are three exceptions to Hyre's circumvention policy.
The Hyre Conversion Fee has been paid for the relationship.
A relationship started outside the platform, comes onto Hyre, and is then taken outside the platform. This includes Bring Your Own.
Relationships that have been maintained for two years or more on the platform.
In these cases, moving a relationship outside of Hyre is permitted under our Terms of Service, and does not count as circumvention.
VIOLATIONS
Violating the non-circumvention clause of the Terms of Service will result in account suspension. These users will lose the ability to use the Hyre platform and can be charged the associated Conversion Fee for that relationship.
MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
To prevent fraud and abuse, users are limited to one active Hyre account and one active Hyre Business account. Any additional account determined to be created to circumvent guidelines, promote competitive advantages, or mislead the platform community will be disabled. Mass account creation may result in disabling of all related accounts. Note: any violations of the platform's Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards are a cause for permanent suspension of all accounts.
TARGETED ABUSE
We do not tolerate users who engage in targeted abuse or harassment towards other users on Hyre. This includes creating new multiple accounts to harass members through our message or ordering system.
SELLING ACCOUNTS
You may not buy or sell Hyre accounts.
